This Wednesday August 12 was by any measure a historic day for Belize and for the People’s United Party. Since his election as leader of the PUP in January 2016 and even before that John Briceño has been listening to the people of Belize. George Price has set a pace for him and Hon. John Briceño’s constant visits to every constituency of Belize and his savvy for understanding the very complex spirit of Belizeanism has him poised to be the next Prime Minister of Belize.

Today was the day that John Briceño and the PUP are opening up their #planBelize to commence the move from figurative to real. The people of Belize are ready to enrich their lives. The young people of Belize are excited to know that they are at the forefront of the PUP’s plans to make Belize’s resources work for everyone.

When the young can see that they have great futures, the present will flourish with great alacrity. When parents’ experience and expertise are employed optimally Belize will be churning at all cylinders—especially our Agroindustry with Tourism and others. All industries will feel the fervour. Hope is a fuel that had drained out of Belize and John Briceño and the PUP are poised to fill our tanks with more than enough. People are asked to help with opening their tanks and using it for the good of Belize.

#planBelize is the way forward for a Belize that works for everyone. It is a roadmap to build a Belize where everybody wins. This is a comprehensive vision made possible by paying attention to the hopes, aspirations, ambitions, needs of the Belizean nation.
