Major Lloyd Jones

Major Lloyd Jones (Ret’d) is a 15 year veteran of the Belize Defence Force who attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and is a graduate of the US Naval War College. He retired as head of the Maritime Wing to take up a position as Ports Commissioner. He holds an MBA in Shipping and Logistics and is currently pursuing an MSc in Climate and Sustainable Development even as he runs his own consulting firm. Jones entered politics just before general elections 2015 and is currently the Standard Bearer in Belize Rural North, the Party’s representative on the Belize Referendum Commission and the Chairman of the Eastern Caucus.
